Pro average eDPI: ~720 · Median: ~700 · Range: 480–1236. Low eDPI (400–800) is typical for riflers; higher eDPI (~800–1200) for AWPers.

Lower DPI = better precision

Most pros use 400–800 DPI with sensors that track cleanly at low DPI without jitter or smoothing.

What is eDPI?

eDPI (effective DPI) = Mouse DPI × In-game Sensitivity. It's the single number that describes how fast your crosshair moves across the screen, regardless of which mouse or sensitivity combination you use.

eDPI = 800 DPI × 1.0 sens = 400 DPI × 2.0 sens = both feel identical in-game. This lets you compare sensitivities across players regardless of mouse hardware.

What eDPI should I use in CS2?

The CS2 pro average is around 700–800 eDPI. Most professional riflers sit between 400–900. AWPers tend to go slightly higher (800–1200). There's no universal "correct" eDPI — the right value depends on your monitor size, arm span, and play style.

General rule: if you're missing flick shots, try a slightly higher eDPI. If you're overshooting targets, go lower.

Why convert from other games?

Different games use different multipliers. Valorant's 0.30 sensitivity ≠ CS2's 0.30 sensitivity. Use the converter to maintain the same physical muscle memory when switching between titles.
